I just added lots and lots of pictures to the picture page. I couldn't pick just one or 2 of each of the kids. We went to the Lake last weekend and hiked, then went down to the beach. It was just beautiful! It was also nice to get to spend some time having fun as a family. I also added pictured of the kids in their Halloween costumes.

Wow, it has been a LOOOOONG time!!! I forgot the password on our old site, then my PC died, then I lost the link to upload... Anyway, I got Adam to move everything to our new family domain! Yeah!!!! This one will be far easier to remember. Well, in the past year and a half, Ethan was born, Alex was diagnosed with Asperger's and Tourette's, Alex turned 9, Chloe turned 3, Donna turned 5, Alex started 4th grade, Donna started Kindergarten, and Ethan turned 1. We have had a very big year, lots to keep up with! I now have a blog that I use for the day to day stuff going on like Chloe painting chairs etc. I'll work at getting this site all caught up in pictures and each of the personal pages this week. For now, here is a calendar page that I made with the help from shabbyprincess.com.

We are getting ready for a big birthday party this weekend! I still can't believe that Donna will be turning 4 in 3 days.
I just got home from a weekend trip to Northern Iowa. Our praise team was invited to sing at Ignite, then at a church on Sunday. We had a great time, and I now look like a lobster. Adam and the kids had VBS while I was gone. Donna got to be in the creative movement on Sunday morning. She is very very proud. I'll have to get a photo of it uploaded that a friend took.

Wow, how does time go by so fast? I need someone to remind me to update this site more often! It seems like I'm always doing updates on some site and somehow I miss doing ours.
So, we had a big birthday bash at a Cabin for Alex and Chloe in April. We had soooo much fun!!! That is what the picture here is from. Chloe fell on got staples in her head the night before the party. Like I'm surprised, as I'm typing this I look over to see her standing in the sink getting into stuff. Donna finished pre-school a couple weeks ago, and will go to pre-K next year. Alex gets out of school in a week. We have lots of stuff planned for this summer. Camps, swimming lessons, library program. Lots of fun and lots of running! We have an ultrasound on tuesday where we will find out the sex of the baby. So I should be updating the site next week! :)

Wow...I thought I had updated this a few times in the past couple months, but it seems that I was dreaming. Chloe started walking in August. She looked at Daddy, and took 16 steps as she went to get into something. (If you are going to do it, you may as well go all the way. None of this one step at a time stuff.) She now runs through the house wearing Donna's dress-up heals. She started talking in full sentences in October. She only said about 4-5 words before that, then one day walked up to me and said "Where is Donna?". I did a double take, and repeated it to see if I had really heard her right, and she said "yeah". She has so much personality and is getting more of her own look. She knows what she wants to wear, what she wants to play with, and what she wants to do; and she isn't afraid to tell us.
Donna is now in pre-school 2 mornings a week. She is having a lot of fun and has many new friends now. I can't believe how big she has gotten!!! She is a great helper, and loves to cook. She got to make a pumpkin pie at preschool last week and she was the only kid in class to eat her whole piece. Now she wants to make Pumpkin pie every day. She is working on her name, and her confidence. She is always concerned about making sure she doesn't make a mistake. She is very excited about getting to see and hug her Auntie Asa and Auntie Alicia in a couple weeks, she loves when she gets to talk on the phone to Auntie Asa! She loves family and asks us how different family members are from time to time. Last night we were talking about getting to see Auntie Asa and Auntie Alicia in a couple weeks. She got so excited that she couldn't finish eating.
Alex is doing great in second grade. I tried to keep him from reading over the summer, and that seemed to help with him starting the year so far ahead of the rest of the class. However I can't hold him off anymore, so he is non-stop reading. He is in the middle of reading 3 chapter books right now. He also has to read for 15 minutes every night, he has read all of the second grade reading books, so the teacher lets him read any chapter book he chooses from her room. Last night he read a full Magic Treehouse book in just under 20 minutes. We were concerned about his comprehension when he reads so fast, but they tested him on it and he is comprehending everything he reads. He reads just shy of 200 words per minute and they include large words that he doesn't even pause to sound out. lol in fact, one of them his teacher stumbled over in our meeting, and she said he just read it perfectly.

Sorry I haven't updated this in so long!!!! Chloe has had an ear infection that she can't kick, and it looks like she may be getting tubes as a last ditch effort in the next month. She has had the ear infection for 2 months and nothing is helping. The doctor thinks that her ear infection is holding her back from walking and talking.
I tried to get a good picture of the 3 kids together to put on this page... but no one was cooperating (daddy included) so we are stuck with this one for a little while longer. We did however get some great new pictures of all the kids alone. Those I'm putting on the picture page. They came out great. We had a very Happy Mother's day! I have the greatest kids in the world! As I was making super, Alex came in and said "Mom, Why are you in the kitchen, you shouldn't be doing this on mother's day!!!" It was so very sweet!

Chloe JUST figured out how to crawl on her knees. It was so cute!!! Adam and I just happened to see her and we got to watch her as she explored and as she started to tentatively crawl to as she was getting more sure of herself. It was very exciting.

Alex got to go to school on time today. I have a feeling that they will be getting out early however and that is why they went on time. Everyone else in the county is starting 2 hours late. We have only had one full day of school in the last more than 3 weeks, 8 school days.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
What a wonderful fun filled day! I'll add some pictures to the picture page as soon as I get the chance. Chloe had alot of fun opening gifts... or should I say eating the paper off of the gifts. Alex asked for very very little and was so sweet about how happy he was when everyone got what he wanted them to get! Donna was so excited to be able to help bring the gifts to everyone... I'm so very proud of how they didn't act even a tiny bit greedy! They really seem to understand the meaning of giving! We will talk more about the true meaning of CHRISTmas tomorrow on our drive to Stratford.

Donna is trying to understand This whole "Christmas" thing. Tonight Chloe was rolling around under the edge of the tree, and Donna got Sooooo excited and started jumping around as she yelled "Chloe under Christmas, Chloe under Christmas!".
Alex had his first Spelling test today. It was 10 words and he got 100% on it.
Donna has been very big on middle names over the last couple weeks calling everyone by their first and middle names. "Mommy Lea, Alex Cwayton, Chloe Irene, and Donna Cwaytonette". We can say Donna Claytonette and it makes her mad, so I say "Donna Antoinette?" She says "Yes, Donna Cwaytonette". So I say slowly... "Ann" She says "Ann". I Say "toinette" She says "Cwaytonette!".

This week when I picked Alex up from school, Mrs. U. told me that Alex had something to tell me. So I braced for something bad, but it wasn't at all bad! One of the girls in his class was crying on the playground because no one would play with her. So Alex went over and told her that he would play with her, and made her day!!! I couldn't have been more proud!
Donna is again potty trained, for now at least. We had this down once, then I got punished for doing something without her and she went on potty strike.
Chloe sat up today on her own. If we ever try to sit her up, she throws herself back as hard as she can before you can pull your arms away. If not, she will just fold herself in half. But today she truly sat up. She is also eating much of what we are eating now. If we are eating, then she should be also!
As for Adam and I, we are staying busy. I was in a car accident this week. (I was stopped at a red light) We are also in charge of an after school program 2 days a week for middle and high school students, including super. We have gotten a lot out of it so far!

Well, I haven't updated our site in a long long long time...so we took it down when it was time to make the site for Team Elite (Adam's paintball team). So, while we had it down I though it would be a good time to start over and make an all new site! So here it is, our all new site!
